Is Chi Tea Healthy for me?•

Today, chai tea can be found everywhere from authentic Indian restaurants to large-scale chain coffee shops.
Chai has a long history as a beloved beverage. The name “chai” is actually the Hindi word for “tea”, which was derived from “cha”, the Chinese word for “tea”. In this case, the Hindi term chai means a mix of spices steeped into a tea-like beverage. The earliest versions of chai were made entirely of spices, and didn’t include any tea at all until British colonization of India. The spiced tea mixture is typically brewed strong with milk and sweetened with sugar or honey.
We have known for a long time that green tea can provide many health benefits...Not only does chai tea provide many of the benefits associated with green tea, it has a bold flavor and enticing aroma that few people can resist.
Indian folk lore suggests that chai originated from Royalty within the Royal Courthouse thousands of years ago. Accounts of this court's location vary from India to Thailand. Regardless of its original location, chai has always been extremely versatile, with preferred spices and different preparation methods varying dramatically from one region to the next.
Today, chai tea can be found everywhere from authentic Indian restaurants to large-scale chain coffee shops. There are approximately 40mg of caffeine in Chi tea as opposed to 120mg in that cup of coffee - so you certainly won't get that jolt of caffeine from your chi tea that you do from coffee - so feel comfortable sipping on an entire pot of tea with your bestie. I love the bags of Chi Tea from L&L Teas simply because they are formulated and handmade for an entire pot of tea - not for a cup (although you can reuse the same bag for the day if you are a single tea drinker - saving our environment while still bringing you that bold flavour of chi tea)
So you ask what is chi tea? With a few exceptions, the base of chai is a black tea. The Kawartha Lakes Wellness Company offers a Chi Tea that is combined not only with black tea, but a delicious blend of Jasmine too for its base. Coupled with the amazing spices they choose, this is probably the best blend for a Chi Tea I have ever experienced. Of course the perfect Chi has whole milk and a little sugar added - and boom! This tea is an amazingly delicious experience!
Chai can include a number of different spices. Cardamom is the most common ingredient, followed by some mixture of cinnamon, ginger, star anise and cloves. Pepper, coriander, nutmeg and fennel are also used, but they are slightly less common. L&L Teas (LnLteas.com) have that perfect blend of spice that will warm you like no other Chi Tea.
Science has proven that many of the ingredients in Chi Tea has shown beneficial to heart health, reducing blood sugar levels, helping those with digestion issues as well even aiding individuals with weight loss. Is Chi Tea good for you - well, you decide - go to KLWC.ca and get the best Chi Tea you will ever experience.
